PRESENT PROGRESSIVE TENSE
- We use the present progressive to describe actions or events which are in progress at the moment of speaking
- I'm writing a letter now
- She is working at the moment
- He's still playing computer games.
- We use the present progressive to describe actions and situation which are thought of as being in progress for a limited period.
- Tom is studying Turkish at Marmara University
- The river is flowing very fast after last night's rain
- We use the present progressive to refer to events and activities planned for the future
- They're spending next summer in Turkey.
- Ali's arriving tomorrow morning on the 15:20 train.
- We use the present progressive to describe continually-repeated actions
- Ayhan's always helping people
- I'm always hearing strange stories about her.
- What is he doing now?
- He is talking on the phone now.
- Mrs. Alleyne is reading a book.
- The cat is sleeping on the sofa.
- A fire is burning in the fireplace.

How to add -ing:
- without changing

- If a verb ends in -e, omit -e and add -ing
